Installation: Installation was relatively easy but I took my time. I spent about 90 minutes. I removed the air intake trim to make things easier. Impression: I didn't see any improvement in the performance of the "trouser seat" - in terms of the car getting faster. However, I had a noticeable improvement in handling. First, I "stumbled" a bit on shifting while riding on or near the WOT. Accidents were most severe in shifts 1-2, but fewer in shifts 2-3 and 3-4. When I put the AEM inlet on, this stuttering went away. Second, I've noticed a fairly dramatic increase in fuel economy on extended freeway trips. I've gone from a best of 23-24 to 26-27 and am leaning towards a 75-80 highway average. I haven't noticed a noticeable difference in mileage around town, but I tend to have a heavy foot when starting off. Conclusion: It was worth it. And I'm sure better airflow will help when I finally pull the tuner trigger. But I am very pleased with the elimination of "stumbles" and increased fuel consumption. If you are considering this product I would say buy it, if only because it makes the car run smoother and increases fuel consumption.
