Review on Green Men's Fleece Robe by Leveret by Deron Altman

Revainrating 4 out of 5

comically large; Less joy of colour.

I've been looking for a green robe for a long time and when I found this stunning shade of green, only available in XL/XXL, I bought it despite the many warnings in the reviews. mass size. I was used to the fact that other clothes sent from China are often absurdly small, so I figured the sizing couldn't be that individual. For reference, I usually wear plus size men, sometimes XL. The robe arrived and I was immediately proven wrong. This thing is absurd, ridiculous, obviously huge. I can wrap it completely around myself, leaving plenty of leeway for others. The reviewer who mentioned that multiple people could fit in one was right. In the picture, the true-to-size version appears to be mid-calf. I'm 6ft tall and my version drags on the floor wherever I go. Every time I put it on I feel like a little kid trying on adult clothes that are too big for me. That looks absolutely ridiculous. This is equivalent to the cape of a clown costume, or perhaps the cape of an entire clown machine. Considering the beautiful hue seen here at Revain, with its rich yellow emerald hue, I was very disappointed to find the significantly less vibrant green robe I received. In fact, the color is so different that I think the images are a direct distortion and most likely need to be corrected to a normal level. The fabric is very soft, but unreliable. It definitely feels thinner and cheaper than my current robe, which has been in constant use for almost a decade. However, the fact that you can wrap your dressing gown around you several times is largely effective in preventing chills. The sheer size of the item is also an absolute boon for those who prioritize maximum body coverage. What disappoints me the most is the color. In real life, the green color looks faded, as opposed to bright, and is quite different from what is shown here. If anyone comes across similar robes in a more comfortable size I'd love to hear about them.
