This is a complete knife set of everything you would need in the kitchen and would make a great housewarming gift.I really was only looking for a set of steak knives when I came across this set. It has six very nice steak knives with serrated edges so that you don't have to worry about sharpening them. The bonus is that I also get all of the other chef knives with them.This set comes with everything you need to set up a kitchen if you didn't have any knives at all. It's really fantastic to have a place to store your knives that's a modern design and you can see the knife you want to pick ahead of time. (In a traditional knife block made out of wood you always have to guess.) This set also comes with kitchen scissors, a vegetable peeler, a knife sharpener, and a small cutting board that stores in the back.However I really love the clear see through storage rack. I can see if anything is dirty, I can see the knife that I want to pick and it looks very stylish too.
