Well made metal case so you can use the cable connectors in the cut outs of the box. The electronics board looks very solid and the heatsinks look like they will last a long time. So far I am very satisfied with this device and the price was great. I'm using 30 amps or so at 24 volts, as expected the unit heats up quite a bit. The input and output power is very close, not much energy is wasted in the controller. I am very satisfied, I will order more for a spare part.
