Review on πŸƒ TrailHeads Running Gloves: Lightweight & Touchscreen-Friendly for Enhanced Performance by Julio Fernandez

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Handles moisture well, warm enough for 30 degrees, not enough for strong winds or running at 10 degrees

Update (March 2018) These gloves remain very comfortable for my half marathon training. Apparently I didn't tuck my left glove deep enough into my running jacket and it fell out somewhere during my 10 mile run. Unfortunately, due to the weather (and because my goddamn legs were dead at the time) I succumbed to the fact that I'd have to buy a new pair of gloves. The first pair have been washed and dried a few times since I got them 3 months ago and they have held up very well and have not fallen which is a big plus! In fact, washing/drying them softened them up a bit, making them even more comfortable than before. Having been running in these gloves for a few months now, the top upgrade tip I have for you is this: 1. They are PERFECT for running in 15-40ΒΊF with minimal wind. If you have moderate winds at the lower end of this temperature range, I highly recommend the two-glove approach so you can peel off the outer layer while you leave it on. At 15ΒΊ you will not be able to fully remove ALL your gloves, especially in strong winds. They're ideal for most runs unless you're in 10+ mph winds. At 30ΒΊ you can probably take off one or both gloves regularly when there is no wind, otherwise you will probably have to keep them on throughout the race.4. Temperatures of 10ΒΊ or below require two pairs of gloves - I wear them underneath because they have better absorbency than my other gloves, and then I wear a slightly heavier pair, but they don't absorb moisture as well as these gloves. Something like this: Isotoner Smartouch Tech Stretch Gloves Men's Black Medium Original Rating (November 2017) They wicked moisture very well during my 5K. We sat in cool 30 degree temps for local turkey lynx and they kept me warm while I waited 20 minutes before the race. Despite the wind cutting through my fingers, it was warm enough to keep going without feeling miserable. . I went from "hands to fists" in the first mile to being able to stretch my fingers in the second, and by the third mile I was able to actually remove one of them. Even when I took the glove off, it was fairly dry throughout the run, except for the wrist area, which was slightly damp. All in all, they're great for what I need them for - mid-winter half marathon training in Ohio! Yes, and although the descriptions and questions say the fingers do NOT have capacitive touch so you can keep using your phone, the model I received works. and this is the first glove where these pads actually work well!
