I bought this product in hopes to keep it up year around but still be able to use the door. Unfortunately my door opens up inward (as do most doors) and since it is connected at the top it rips the entire cover off if you try to open the door. So basically the magnet strip is worthless because you can’t open the door anyway.I did however cut the middle attachment piece so it does not connect at the top and it solved the entire issue. It works great now and I can still keep it up year around if I wanted to. I also put the Velcro on the bottom because we had more of a draft coming from the bottom than we did from the top. Works great 🙂
