I bought this dressing gown for myself, for women. I like that men's bathrobes fit me better than women's bathrobes. I was looking for a replacement for my bathrobe which I found to be too short, too hot and bulky. This robe is a major upgrade. It's not very thick, so I didn't overheat in it. It's not very thick and big, it's the perfect free size for me. The material is soft and airy. It doesn't have a hood, and I was looking for something that wasn't there. I love the deep red color with a dark finish. The sleeves are loose and comfortable. Refreshed after a shower. Perfect!
