POWERTEC BS900RF Guide for Powertec BS900 Logging Band Saw

Let me start by saying that I don't have the Powertec 9 inch saw that this BS900RF guide bar is actually made for, but instead I bought this one to myself to adapt to my old Delta 28-150 9" saw as Delta stopped making the 28-181 fence for their table saws a few years ago and the Kreg KMS7200 band saw fence does not fit my model. I've done quite a bit of research and compared the size specifications for tables and rails from different manufacturers and found that the Powertec BS900, with its 11-3/4" square table, was the best match for Delta, which had an 11-1/4" size. 2 Inch square table Based on photos from the web and my owner's manual the Powertec keeper was the closest match to the discontinued Delta 28-181 keeper, although I fully recommend it was prepared to modify it extensively if necessary. In the end I only had to remove about 1/16 inch from the top edge of the lower front cast aluminum rail with a file to allow it to slide all the way under the table and also straighten the hook on the rear steel bracket a bit...with a hammer and vise , so he can grab the bottom edge of the table. Once this was done the fence fell in almost as if it was made for my saw. The fence measures just over 12 inches long and 2 inches in height. and I think it's grossly overpriced for what it is but since it was the best option I could find for my needs I feel like it was worth it Board and clamps that worked well but often required me to use a square at both ends to set it up exactly so it was quite slow and tedious to work with when I needed to b Multiple position changes were necessary for multiple rip cuts of different widths. This fence is a lot quicker and easier for me to install and remove so now I'm really glad I took the risk and spent the money on it. mine, so not sure if it's just a typo, but I didn't need them for my application anyway. BTW if you have a 9" Delta 28-150, SM400, BS100 or Black & Decker BDBS100 and are looking for an OEM style rip fence, those saws appear to have the same size chart with the same part number, so this fence Powertec BS900RF must be adapted to each.
