Review on ๐Ÿ”ฅ Flirc Raspberry Pi 3B Case: Optimal Protection and Cooling Solution by David Alvarez

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Not designed for 40 pin tape

This is a very nice aluminum case with a plastic back and 4 screws. The base has plenty of holes for heat transfer and two slots, one for accessing the memory card and the other on the side for the GPIO cable or wires. The reason it deserves two stars is that it has a flaw in the design of the mounting racks inside. You could mount the Pi board perfectly, but you couldn't with a 40-pin ribbon cable. I've tried a number of different tapes (ranging from standard floppy disks to specialized ones for Pi); none will work. The tape head is wider than the distance between the two posts. You can try some DuPont wires, it might work, but it's not what I need. I will look for the best option.
