Expensive. But IF it delivers on its promises, it's cheaper than using jugs and their filters. Our tap water smells like it comes from a swimming pool. Our jug filters couldn't handle the chlorine levels. This filter/purifier has been great so far (a few months). The water tastes NOTHING like it should. It can use up to 6 black filters and handle a lot of water quickly. Even with just two, we have plenty of clean, tasteless water for drinking, cooking, and pets. NOTE: If you don't mind the scratched/dented version, go for it. I have a feeling you can mostly push out the dent(s) and the dent(s) won't affect performance.
