Review on 🌿 Unscented Free & Clear Hair Styling Gel - Fragrance and Gluten Free, Ideal for Sensitive Skin, 7 Oz by Emily Wilson

I have curly hair that gets tangled in wet weather. I ordered this product to soothe my hair as it was described by the manufacturer and Revain as 'for sensitive skin'. I once applied a small amount (about ¼ teaspoon) to damp hair and woke up at 3am with an itchy, burning sensation on my face. I had to get up and wash my hair and face, change the pillowcase and towels. When I later looked at customer reviews, I saw that four of the ingredients listed are PEG compounds, which the Environmental Working Group (EWG) has classified as ingredients to avoid. I will definitely avoid this product in the future, do not recommend it and be suspicious of Free & Clear products' claims that they are for sensitive skin.
