My old grill brushes/scrapers were fine wire bristles that did the job but became less useful after less frequent use. There were also concerns that some of these bristles could end up in food. This brush/scraper has withstood some heavy use and has definitely not walked on the grate which is great to see. It takes a little more effort to get to the food on the grid, but I don't find it difficult.
