This wave generator comes in a small box and requires simple assembly - essentially 2 drive heads are attached to magnetic mounts. As a rule, the product is made of hard plastic, which will last for some time even with the acidic properties of aquarium water. Magnetic mounts also have 2 strong suction cups. This way the nozzle is protected from both suction and magnetism. The nice thing is that there are practically no restrictions on where you can install this, which is pretty easy by the way. The cord is also long enough to reach the back of my 75 gallon tank where I placed it near the front. Although the dual fans are small, they are quite powerful for their size and move a lot of water (and fish). I have this as a backup for my main line if it gives out and also as a directional fan, pushing the waste closer to my pump's filtration point. If I were picky, I'd probably only complain about how you adjust the position of the fans, since you can point them pretty much anywhere, but not independently. This way there are always 2 fans blowing in the direction you specify. I've been in the hobby for a long time, maybe a little over 5 years, and the Hygger brand I've come across has a solid reputation.
