Analogues are much more expensive. To be honest this fan is excellent! It's easy to set up and quiet. The remote control works well, no glitches. I will say that the instructions show a few parts that are not included. But its equipment that is not really needed. Be sure to remove the "lightweight" wire harness from the wireless remote control. I left ours connected as we may decide to add light in the future and grounded the harnesses and fried the receiver. We emailed the manufacturer and they responded to us immediately and quickly resolved the issue! I was hesitant at first but this fan and maker was great! Don't hesitate in the future!
