Painted numbers wash off easily
Everything about this E6B is quite nice except for one thing: durability. The numbers are not engraved on the metal but simply printed on it and the paint scratches too easily. I've only used it a couple of times and already have some areas where the numbers are becoming illegible. If you handle your new E6B with kid gloves and keep it in a case except when in use you should be fine, but I prefer mine to be ready to go and easily accessible. I would not buy again.
