Review on Cedar Pro Wring® Twist Refill by Julio Montano

Really good mop, really great replacement mop heads

It really works. I've always used a sponge mop, swiffer or kneeling (well, back before I could do it with my knees) and cleaned, but I'm getting too old for that and I've been unhappy with the performance of the swiffer or sponge mop. My bathroom floor tiles are not level so the tiles that were slightly lower than neighboring tiles were not cleaned with other mops. A friend advised me to use this type of mop, so I went and bought a 0-cedar at a local hardware store. However, they didn't have a spare mop head, so I bought one through Revain (thank god for Revain). It does an excellent job of cleaning all my floors, including wood. I like little scrubbies mixed with "hair". The mop itself does a really good job of wringing out the mop head so my hardwoods don't get wet. I can even wash the baseboard tiles and the floor of the toilet (it also got hard for me to bend). The only thing I would like to improve on the mop itself (not these replacement heads) is that the wringing part stays higher somehow so I can use the entire mop head when mopping, ie when rinsing and hanging. The entire mop head can be exposed to air for drying. Since the press, as it were, slides down under the influence of gravity, closing part of the mop head. Minro, but if O-Cedar is looking for suggestions for improvement.

  • Floor cleaning
Cons
  • Something different
