ROK straps are typical motorcycle adventure straps. Their claim to fame is a strong nylon strap paired with a short elastic section that balances stresses like waterproof bags that can slowly leak when squeezed, which could theoretically cause traditional nylon straps to come loose while riding. In practice this was not a problem for me. I don't trap a lot of excess air in waterproof roll-top bags, and I almost always find a way to thread the strap through the bag's handle, even if the strap has to come loose. I prefer the great strength of these strong 1" nylon straps with cam buckles that I can attach very securely, although the tensile strength of the 1" nylon strap is probably overkill for attaching the bag to a motorcycle rack. The two 72" long and 1" wide nylon straps can also be used to tow a bike in an emergency. As much as I love the ultra-lightweight, minimalist approach, the added weight of 1-inch nylon straps compared to ROK straps doesn't bode well for added strength and features. These cam buckle harnesses also have a wider range and lower cost than ROK harnesses.
