Review on SE BI51802GR 2 Lb Blanket 50 70 by Amanda Rodriguez

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Decent blanket for the price but we'll check it out!

I bought this duvet simply because I go camping at least once a year for at least 5 days in a row. I wanted some sort of camping/car blanket that was inexpensive yet durable. Let's start by saying I'm happy with the case it came in. It closes with a zipper, plastic on one side and mesh fabric on the other. It smells as mentioned in the previous reviews. I personally don't care, it smells like gun oil, my wife says hot plastic, someone else here said gear oil. The paper inside the packaging clearly says 50% wool and 50% synthetic. I don't know why it is advertised as 50-70% wool, although technically correct. Made in India. It's relatively warm where I live, today it was 99 degrees, the house is about 60-65 and let me tell you, I put it on and it raised my body temperature slightly to the point where I was hotter than outside. Of course, remember that there are no elements in play, there is no wind unless you count AC. I haven't washed mine, I've read some who have, I try not to wash anything that has more than 15% wool simply because the material is never the same. Anyway, my intention was to let this blanket go through the bell and if it lasts, buy more, when they're worn out just throw them away or donate. I gave it 4 stars simply because it's a great rug for the price, I'll be going camping at the end of October and we'll really see if this rug can withstand freezing temperatures (32 and below), I'll come back to it and tell you guys, how it works, and adjust the rating to be more specific. I'll try to add a photo too.
