I had to return another dehumidifier from another manufacturer. THIS ONE is SUPER quiet and easier to set up (although it's a bit heavy at 85lbs so 2 people is better). VERY powerful - reduced the humidity in the basement from 60 to 50% in 20 minutes. (I have a hygrometer reading in the house). The hardest part of the installation was leveling - the underground floors are not the smoothest. Make sure you level it and leave it for a day - something about it should level itself if you tilt it (which of course should happen if you get it through the underground access). I'm seriously considering getting a remote that will work with it.
