I have a full Christmas shopping experience and when I saw this I thought of my daughter. She is 10 years old and has definitely reached the stage where she is really interested in jewelry, cosmetics, perfumes. She likes flashy jewelry, but a lot of them aren't appropriate for school. Those giant necklaces lying around are too much of a distraction for a 5th grader, let alone risking tangling with the mask cord. This is a cute pendant and its deep purple and blue tones along with the Swarovski glitter would be perfect. It is age appropriate and attracts attention. And while it's certainly not a useless trinket, it can't result in financial loss if lost. I think this will be her favorite stocking this year!
