Mandatory if you have broken or damaged nuts
Some of the OEM nuts on my son's car over the last year have "swollen" and become harder to remove (they no longer fit the 19mm socket ). I ordered this set as there was a pair I couldn't take off without risking taking them apart. They worked great removing the bad studs and I replaced the OEM nuts with a new set.
