Genuine leather, well stitched, holds driver's license, credit cards and paper money well. A nice feature to turn off the phone's display when you close the lid and snap the lid's magnetic latch back into place. It doesn't use a magnet to hold the phone (in the included phone case) in place like some other models of this type. The phone case attaches directly to the inside of the back (back) cover. My previous case had a magnet that held the jacket to the inside of the back cover and sometimes it didn't hold the phone in the case. The jacket with the phone fell to the ground several times but fortunately was not injured. This is firmly connected to the inner case back. If you need to separate the phone from the case, you can still take it out of the jacket. The case appears to be made of quality materials and craftsmanship, but only time will tell its true durability.
