Nice compact CD player. Sounds better than I expected! The roof doesn't blow, but the sound is clear. I was looking for a small player for the kitchen and for yoga. It's better than I expected. Sooo small and almost elegant and easy to use. I didn't need a book for work. I brought it from the yoga room to the kitchen while playing. Don't skip! I'm sure I could get better sound for twice the money, but for $42 this is amazing. Amazing value. I love it and am considering buying more for my summer home. If you just want good sound in one room instead of filling the whole house, that's great. In fact, it fills my great room and two bedrooms, and I don't have to turn the volume up to distortion levels. I can't say it well enough. I'm so happy. Definitely recommend!
