Doesn't work without a charge

The goal was to use this around the light switch in a room that gets little light and no direct light, the room is dark enough that finding the switch at night can be a challenge. For this use case, the tape doesn't work, it doesn't provide any glow. However, it should be noted that this location only gets low indirect light, so it's understandable that if it needs a charge, it doesn't work. It's not practical to charge it (a flashlight was suggested) as that defeats the purpose of having the tape.
