. It seems to take a long time to heat the same amount of water as my old teapot. I also miss the ability to set the temperature. I wanted a glass teapot and my last one was aluminum/plastic. It took forever, but it started dripping. I tried 2 separate glass teapots, the first leaked immediately, crap. The next one just got up and left me. I use the kettle several times a day. While this lasted a few months, the real test will be in a year. I like that the plastic does not come into contact with water when heated or poured. A plus.
