I bought two of these to replace a pair of Yi wireless cameras that kept disconnecting from my network. I chose POE cameras as a replacement to get a very reliable connection. After two months I can report that these cameras are extremely reliable, deliver excellent results and have survived several very strong storms without any problems. I would give them 5 stars if the software was a bit more user friendly.1. The design is bulletproof, all metal, well made. Surprisingly, they don't have 360 degree rotation on the pen holder. They only adjust up and down. However, the very wide viewing angle makes up for this, so I had no trouble getting the field of view I wanted. After two months of very heavy rains and storms, they remained waterproof.2. The performance is very, very good. Image quality isn't as good as the Yi cameras I've had before, but in HD mode it's really very good and good enough to read license plates. POE technology is absolutely reliable. While the network is working, the cameras are connected. They will reconnect automatically after a power outage or router reboot.3. Customer service is excellent. They work in Houston during business hours, although I believe the real technicians are in India. They are very patient and get the job done. One of my cameras was not recording to the SID card. They were able to solve this problem remotely and then helped me choose the best settings for my applications.4. Software: The cameras are VERY easy to set up and connect to the iPhone app. However, it is NOT easy to navigate through the configuration settings and there is no guide on how to choose settings to avoid false positives. However, the tech support staff can help with a bit of trial and error. One of the nice features is the ability to mask selected parts of the image that can give unwanted positive results when motion is detected (e.g. plants and bushes). Overall, these are great outdoor cameras that are reliable and deliver good results. The setup software isn't user-friendly, but the tech support department makes up for it.
