Excellent high definition security camera

The only drawback is the lack of a built-in microphone. I use it indoors and an audio recording with video would make it the perfect product for my needs. I have other internal Amcrest cameras with sound but they are not as high definition as this camera.

good quality camera with not optimal night image compared to 4M model

I have bought several cameras from different brands also bought several models from Amcrest, this is definitely a good quality camera, first of all it is very clear time of day. The only problem is that the amcrest 4K model doesn't have night IR like the amcrest 4M model, which is almost $40 cheaper than the 4K model. So if you want to get a better picture at night, this 4K IR camera is your best choice. IR lights can cost you an additional $20. An alternative solution is to buy the 4M modelโ€ฆ

Good camera for the price.

Here's what you can expect from a camera. The center of the street is 40 meters away. The visible night is the ambient light, the IR illumination of the camera is switched off. The reason you can see so far up the road is because I have a large IR illuminator pointing up there. In general very happy with the camera. During the day I can only read the license plate if the light is right. I hope it helps.

Very reliable with excellent performance

I bought two of these to replace a pair of Yi wireless cameras that kept disconnecting from my network. I chose POE cameras as a replacement to get a very reliable connection. After two months I can report that these cameras are extremely reliable, deliver excellent results and have survived several very strong storms without any problems. I would give them 5 stars if the software was a bit more user friendly.1. The design is bulletproof, all metal, well made. Surprisingly, they don't have 360โ€ฆ
