I prefer ASICS because I have flat feet and their tennis shoes are known to be good for flat feet. I am also currently struggling with a heel spur that hurts a lot with every step. feel all the arch support I need and the heel area is too stiff. I like a little (or a lot) of cushioning in the heels, especially with heel spurs, but I don't feel it in any shoe. I need to buy a gel insole which offers better heel cushioning and also helps with arch support. I love their color! I've gotten a few compliments on the color. And the price was great. It's probably last year's model, but I don't care at all. If I had to do it again I would find a shoe with more arch support and a softer heel.
