I bought a few rolls of this because I had a wood contact with wood furniture that I wanted to calm. It was absolutely perfect. It's very durable and has the right self-adhesive backing that stays in place. No more grinding noise or squeaking from wooden surfaces, it does not soften. It was exactly what I was looking for. The only problem I had was when trying to separate it from the release paper after cutting. Sometimes it is difficult to peel off the backing paper. I've learned not to cut it flush and leave some release paper open so I can separate the next piece. Small inconveniences.
