Review on 🏎️ Enhanced LEGO Creator Turbo Track Building Kit by Daniel Pierce

My 7 year old son assembled this for Christmas but when he got to steps 98 and 99 he was missing a few parts. He was so excited and so was I! I stayed up until midnight repeating it, trying to figure out where it had gone wrong. After doing some research online, I found that others were having the exact same issue. Turns out LEGO changed the design of this set quite a bit. And the mistake was that we received a revised set but the old instructions! I was able to find a newer version of the manual online on the LEGO website and complete steps 98 and 99 (step 99, page 66 in the newer version) after which we were able to continue with the old manual with no problem. The new version uses 3 pieces per wing, the old version uses 6 pieces per wing. So following the new instructions we were no longer short parts and the rest of the build went perfectly.
