Don't expect this lens to replace your wide-angle and portrait primes at the same time. it's something in between, that is, a reporter. It is verycomnvenient where it is inconvenient tocomnstantly change the glass and you need to change the magnification all the time - travel, banquets, reports. Itcomnveyscomlor perfectly, is not afraid of backlight, almost does not limp, almost does not catch bunnies at all. But as a portrait lens it is rather weak, personally I am not satisfied with the clarity when zoomed in. I did a little test, the results are in my photos. At aperture 2.8, the eyes are very cloudy, at 3.5 they are better, at 5.6-8.0 the clearest, but here the bokeh is already rather weakly blurred. At aperture 13-18, it is already dark and you need to unscrew the ISO, graininess appears. Blurs the background very nicely in portraits, sometimes blurs foliage not very nicely. I don’t know about others who say that it is sharp at all apertures, I only have it at medium ones. In general, it is worthcomnsidering many times whether you need it. Portraitists and studio shooters will not like it, but forrunning around events and nature, it will be just right.
