So I don't have a huge problem with this power supply for the money. You plug it in and it works. The fan is a bit noisy, but no more than most PSUs I've had. Unlike the other reviewer, I had a 4+4 CPU power cable, so it worked fine. My problem is that I had two different motherboards with 1700x RAM and gskill trident RGB 3200 and I can't use the DOCP overclock setting on the motherboard and I can't get the overclock that the previous owner of this processor was able to get. As far as I know about overclocking, it's usually due to a cheap power supply and voltage ripple. I can't prove it, but I think that's what limits me. So all in all I can't really criticize this power supply because it's so cheap. But you know what you get. So 3 months after purchase the fan fails. Not a problem for me either, I'll just upgrade it to a Noctua fan, but still. Maybe it's time to change the entire assembly
