I bought this canister to replace the glass canister my mother gave me almost 28 years ago which had a cracked lid. I haven't had a chance to see this product except in the description and in the picture on the web. When it finally arrived it was just perfect! I kept an ugly jar in my cupboard of coffee cups and this beauty doesn't stand on the counter! It has a stainless steel insert and an excellent locking seal that keeps your coffee fresh. I don't need or use a calender wheel on top, just a canister. I'm sure it will last a long time!
