Review on SYMA Q7 RC Boat: 20+ Km/H 2.4GHz Fast Racing For Pools & Lakes, Capsize Recovery + Low Battery Alarm, Gifts For Boys & Girls by Justin Spence

Revainrating 5 out of 5

High-quality build with all the power you can want!

I have operated several similar boats and have to say that the SYMA Q7 is possibly the best RC boat in it’s price class. The boat uses 2 batteries and charged with a USB port. Once charged up this boat is extremely fast. It has a great safety feature which prevents it from firing up when it is out of the water. Once it is running it is a true delight. Great build quality, engineering and responsiveness. Designed with superb water tight fittings. The boat comes with grease which you need to apply to the prop shaft periodically. Perhaps the coolest feature for guys like me is that it is impossible to capsize. I tried hard but it just won’t overturn. It does have a "reverse” function but that is not it’s strongest feature. Works but just barely. Battery life is good and keeps this speed freak of a boat screaming over the water for longer than you would expect.A very fun boat built to high standards and well worth it at this price.

Pros
  • Easy to Control & Perfect for Beginners: The boat only works in the water, and the power will be off when out of water, which makes you play safe. When the remote control boats capsize, you don’s need to do anything, the 180° self-righting design keeps your boat plays well when it capsizes. It's safe and easy for beginners!
Cons
  • The boat may capsize easily or flip over in rougher waters
