To me they're just so-so
I put one in a water bottle. It did not cool and melted very quickly. I keep my house at 68 degrees so the water is cool to begin with. After drinking some water, I poured two into a bottle (16 ounces) and it cooled enough. On the plus side, it won't dilute your drink!
