Review on 🛢️ Dorman 265-833 Transmission Oil Pan for Chrysler, Dodge, and Ram Vehicles - Automatic Option by Darrell Shreves

I bought this product for my 2015 Dodge Grand Caravan with 62HP transmission. I just replaced my original sump with this Dorman transmission sump and it is much better than the original sump because it has a drain plug. This makes it easier to drain the transmission fluid between transmission filter changes. I like to keep track of service intervals because it extends the life of the transmission. As for the gasket, I also didn't use the manufacturer's recommended method of using an RTV gasket maker, which they had before I replaced the sump. In addition, there were clear signs of leakage from the swamp. So I settled on the Fel-Pro TOS 18757 gasket and tightened the flat head screws to about 55-60 in-lbs. So far there have been no leaks. The quality of this Dorman transmission pan is excellent and is exactly the same as the original pan. It doesn't come with a magnet, so be sure to use the old one.
