My son has always called my dish drying mat the death trap. It was a mat with a few small pegs to hook things on, and I guess it was sort of a Jenga situation. I have a lot of stainless steel cookware and delicate bakeware that can’t go in the dishwasher, and I wanted something that could make better use of the space on my counter. With the two level system, there is double the usable space. There is a utensil cup that includes closed spaces for large knives that is a nice safety feature that I was not expecting. The drainage system is nice, along with the extra mat to cover drips from the cups. The only thing that kept this from being a five star review was the assembly. While I didn’t expect the product to come assembled, I would have liked better instructions.
