I like the lock but if you want to buy one because it takes up little space on the frame think again. You'll probably still need to carry it in your backpack. The plastic clasp has a smooth design. It is unable to withstand the weight of the lock itself and will simply break. Also, my rubber band broke after 1 month of light use. I'm filing a warranty claim with Kryptonite to get a new plastic mount and I plan on reinforcing it with zip ties. With a rubber band you also have to come up with something.
