Review on NDS FWAS24 50 Gallon Flo Stormwater Dry Well System Kit with Three Side Panels & One Cover, Black by Jeff Alradwan

My parents' garden has been flooded with rainwater since they bought it in 1999. Varieties don't work for bringing rainwater outside (which should always be your first plan). So I bought this as a last resort. Installation: I hooked mine up to a fairly expansive French 40LF drain with a drain hole at the opposite end (the lowest level in the yard). I dug a hole 5ft diameter and 6ft deep haha I know but given the slope of the French drainage lay down a 2ft gravel pad and appropriate cover first to allow the gravel to cover the top covered and the earth encloses above. the well you created, then you begin to understand what you bit off. DO NOT TRY WITHOUT A mini excavator! It took me 40 hours of labor (4 people x 5 hours) to dig, install, fill and patch the lawn. This includes my 3' deep x 40 LF French drain. I used 6 CY stone so I spent most of my time wheelbarrowing stone in the fenced back yard. The description says 40 gallons but the packaging says 50. Hold together so well until the lid gets hammered (biggest downside I see). Also, I've never heard or felt it "click" together. After all the work you're about to do, you don't want to accidentally roll it up during the backfill process. I had a buddy who was on the cover at the first wheelbarrow junkyards. No gutter washers yet so this hasn't been tested too hard yet. I'd bet $$ on this system if you're being generous with the stone and using fabric to separate the bottom. This system is constantly being used on a much larger scale at Walmart and other retail stores with parking lots where without some sort of storage tank there isn't a decent infrastructure to hook up to.
