I used to have several recovery kits. They seemed relatively cheap but almost always got the job done. Metal components are usually good enough. This is a belt that has failed at times. I was hoping that the strap on this set wouldn't be something I was afraid of. That's definitely not true! This one is massive. It's rated for the same load as the other, thinner straps I've used, but it's much stronger. I have no doubt that this harness is underrated. I will probably be using this strap longer than I will have a restoration car.
