I didn't buy this top hat for a costume but for an arts and crafts project. So anyone interested in using it for the same purpose, I recommend it! The hat is strong and not easy to bend. If you have heavy scissors you can cut it. Also, the clips are glued very well on the bottom, which is fine for its original purpose, but you can tear off the clips if needed.
