This is a good set at a good price, at least for my level of work. I mainly used them for drilling round parts on a drill press. The clamps are secure and all finishes are as accurate as I could measure as an amateur mechanic. A nice feature is that the V is larger on one side than the other, allowing you to work with a wider range of sizes. I have also used them in clamp builds as spacers along with 1-2-3 blocks. The blocks are small and the clamping screws are long, sometimes getting in the way of the drill chuck when using a short drill or pilot drill. In this frequently occurring case, I clamp with my sliding block clamping set.
