First and most often I received the wrong tube upon delivery. I was able to contact K&N and they made a new one for free so I won't be knocking out a star. The serial number was not set from the beginning (check the details first). Luckily I had a lot of little things floating around in the garage and was able to find the right nuts. I was hoping to keep the plastic cover on the motor but without crashing into it you can't leave it there. As for electricity and gas consumption, the increase is small. You basically make one of these theses to make your truck make noise. It's noisy. One of the loudest induction noises I've heard without the turbo. I thought about adding an exhaust to the truck BUT decided against it as it's quite noisy. Your car friends won't like the sound. Your car friends will love it. My wife puts up with it, but I can understand why she finds it annoying. Besides that, I will never have a K&N pickup in my trucks.
