They are the perfect size for cleaning. They are very soft. The absorption is questionable on the first use, but after washing for reuse it is ok. The box they come in to give away is good and all but one you get about 6 of these, it's just easier to unbox them fully and use them that way. Yes, they are thin, but they don't have to be thick to be able to be cleaned, which I think is why everyone wants to buy a box of rags. Thank you for an affordable and quality product! It was just what I needed!
