Strange name I know, but what I mean is that the faucet doesn't let air into the jug, thus creating a vacuum and preventing water from escaping. The last thing I expected. Our solution is to leave the big white lid open and let air into the jar and then it will work. We don't have any leaks (yet). And a recycle code of 7 means it "may" contain BPA but doesn't have to, so for now we'll assume it doesn't. This jug will work for us, but surprisingly it doesn't "bubble," letting air in and water pouring out so the lid came off.
