I was really hoping that I would like this product but it is really cheaply made. You have to put a valve on it, and I had to borrow a 13-year-old kid to help with the valve installation. After some effort to stop the valve from leaking, it worked properly once. After that, you need to open the valve and tilt the container up so that it drains.

Most importantly the lever is high enough for me to easily fill the reservoir from my reverse osmosis faucet like I did with the one the I want to replace. THIS pitcher is so cumbersome I can't fill it until I get up and hold it. There are no instructions for using two washers in the kit, I think any idiot will figure it out. Must return.

idk was corrupted what you thought. They did this by taking the two halves of the mold and fitting them together (which is normal; standard practice) but the oversight is that they placed the part where the water comes out right on the center line where the two halves meet . Needless to say it is leaking. I had to remove the spout and sand it smooth (inside and out to prevent leakage).

We bought 2 gallon pre-filled water jugs from the store for our road trips. Now we're going to use these returnable jugs instead. So far, so good. We save money compared to buying water from the store, and we don't add more plastic waste to the growing plastic waste problem. The pots have held up well after a few uses so far. They work just as well or even better than the disposables we bought from the store.

Well that was stickers all over the product when I first got it. They were all stuck to it and it took considerable washing/stupidity to remove. WHY do companies do this? Interestingly, the sticker on the lid came off easily and without leaving any residue. Second, the faucet leaked during the initial installation. Now that it's tightened it works properly. runs for about 5 seconds and then stops until you turn on the faucet and drain the water. watch the video

Strange name I know, but what I mean is that the faucet doesn't let air into the jug, thus creating a vacuum and preventing water from escaping. The last thing I expected. Our solution is to leave the big white lid open and let air into the jar and then it will work. We don't have any leaks (yet). And a recycle code of 7 means it "may" contain BPA but doesn't have to, so for now we'll assume it doesn't. This jug will work for us, but surprisingly it doesn't "bubble," letting air in and water…

I tightened the gaskets on both sides perfectly. The drain was twisted so tight my hands almost bled! - BUT IT STILL LEAKS! I had a clear silicone sealant that I applied liberally to the outside of both sides of the gaskets and that fixed it in place. I bought two of these cans. Both arrived undamaged. Both went ahead. I would NOT recommend this product unless you plan on using silicone sealant. These jugs are literally unusable when they arrive. You'll have a big puddle under your pitcher…

I read the reviews AFTER I bought this product - I know you should read them first. But if I had, I probably wouldn't have bought it! I like it very much and would have missed it! People who complain about leaks must not have installed the nozzle tightly enough. I followed the instructions kindly posted here in another buyer's reviews and was able to easily install it myself using a small screwdriver to press the gasket firmly and a wrench to tighten it once I finger tightened it.
