Disconnecting Sharkbite fittings can be very difficult. If you try to use cheap plastic rings to press the latches you will be unhappy. I've tried all sorts of ways. It kind of works on a budget. If you do Sharkbite for an adjustment or two, great. If you want to create some, maintain them over time, and customize them after posting, this tool is for you. It works with all sizes and brands of socket fittings. It's easy for you and just works. I felt lucky in my work.
