Good price, good gloves.

I received this item for free as a Revain Vine reviewer and this is my honest review. I only request items that I actually use and will use before writing a review. I regularly use cleaning products as well as oils and other wood finishes that I don't want to expose my skin to. Gloves are always mandatory protective equipment. I like disposables as I can change them often when they get dirty or when I change the chemicals used to avoid cross contamination. What I love about these gloves is that you get a lot of bang for your buck. Overall, they appear to hold up well to a variety of solvents, oils, and wood finishes. What I don't like is the lack of endurance. I know these are not pure nitrile gloves (it's a mix of nitrile and vinyl). Due to the vinyl they are not as stretchy as straight nitrile gloves and are more free on the hands (picture). The description photo shows one of these gloves being pulled over the hand. No it does not. Every time I tried to put them on like a regular nitrile glove, they ripped (pictured). The vinyl in it just doesn't have the same strength and flexibility. The fit is good and they are comparable to similar gloves of the same size, although again they are not snug. Dexterity is decent, I was able to pick up small parts and feel the work surface. The vinyl mix gives them some "stiffness". I prefer the tighter fit and feel of a full nitrile glove for tasks that require a lot of dexterity or when I'm working with a lot of fine detail. I also feel that they are not as durable as other disposable gloves of a similar thickness that I have used in the past. But for general cleaning and finishing, they do well. And with the low price, I can afford to change them more often if necessary. As at the end of all my reviews, I wonder if I would really buy this product. This is good value for money. But they do have drawbacks in the fit and feel that a combination of nitrile and vinyl can give. My main problem is that they tend to rip when I put them on if I'm not careful. Would I buy these? In all honesty, I can say that their economics outweigh some of the gaps in usage. Yes, I would buy them again.
