Review on Set of 2 Key Fob Flip Shell Case & Pad for Chevy Equinox/Sonic and GMC Terrain (2010-2017) by Thomas Chalecki

Difficult to try and replace parts

Purchased for 2010 Lacrosse. Old key fobs are difficult to open - the electronics simply did not fit into the new housing. Finally found a locksmith who sold me the GM case, cut the key and reprogrammed the electronics which is a breeze. Here's my suggestion: an independent locksmith is cheaper than a Buick dealer wanting to reprogram the entire system when all that needs to be installed is a new remote with the old key. A GM key guaranteed by a locksmith who says counterfeit key fobs won't stand up to reprogramming. Are you looking for a locksmith with a laser key cutter and selling GM key fobs.
