I bought these used from the seller but he said they were in "like new" condition. But that's not the case. One of the spark plugs showed clear signs of wear. Scuffs and dents (and it's not wax). This damage obviously did not occur during transport. It was wrapped and hidden in an intact box. The other candle was in excellent, like-new condition. I contacted Revain via live chat and they gave me an apology. They wanted me to return the product. I don't understand why I had to do this when the seller clearly failed on their end of the bargain. These are the holidays; It's a hassle to go anywhere, not to mention the fact that I've recently been bedridden. While I love these candles, they don't come cheap (even used ones!). Should I be thankful to receive a damaged product? Although the size and appearance of these candles are appropriate for my application, I feel uncomfortable buying more of them.
